Most kids want to be a magician at some point, but for Jonny Magic it was more than a childhood phase. He received his first magic trick when he was 8 years old, and he has been performing ever since.

Magic Live Conference
I recently attended a huge conference for magicians hosted by Magic Magazine. It is called Magic Live, and around 1,000 magicians attend. This year it was held in Las Vegas!
Magic Magazine Film Festival Winner
I’m excited to announce that my short film, The Magician’s Wife, won the Magic Magazine International Film Festival. The event took place in Las Vegas during the Magic Live conference. A special thank you to my wife and all the cast and crew who helped make this possible! Magic Magazine will hopefully put the movie online soon – stay tuned.

Yesterday I performed a show with the incredibly funny and talented Karl Bastian (http://kidologist.com/). To promote the event, I jumped out of bed at 4am for an early live appearance at the local news station.

2010 BSA Jamboree
This week I performed at the 2010 Boy Scouts of America National Jamboree. I’m an Eagle Scout myself, so it was great to experience the fun of scouting again – especially since this event only happens every 4 years.
